Grand Master Hong Son Yu
GM Hong Son Yu is a member of the ITF (International Taekwon-do Federation) and president of the North American Taekwon-Do Association (NATA).

Master Tai Phan Was Born in Cambodia but Vietnamese nationality. He came to the U.S.A. in May 1971, and Received American citizenship in 1982 and now resides in Macomb Twp., MI. He Holds the rank of 6th Dan black belt.

Master Phan began to study Tae Kwon- Do with Kerry Roop Superkicks in 1979 which was under Grand Master Hong Son Yu. Master Phan has been teaching Tae Kwon-Do over 30 years, His first studio was in Lake Orin from 1993-2010.

Phan’s Academy of Tae Kwon-Do (TKD) has been in business since 2014 we are located at 34511 Utica Rd Fraser, Mi 48026. Our Style is the original or Traditional Style ITF Tae Kwon-Do, besides Tae Kwon-Do we also offer Self-defence, Kickboxing, Hapkido, and Modern Arnis.
